I am seeking any information that may be helpful on dental assistance for the financially impaired. I am a 42 year old man living in Minneapolis MN that is a survivor of an abusive relationship with another man. As a result I am in desperate need of immediate dental attention. I have been fortunate enough to have arranged two free consultaions, so I am aware of what needs to be done. Both recommendations involvedental surgery, with an end result being a total cost of around $10,000.00.
Besides being a survivor of abuse, I am also a sober man that has lived many a clean 24 hours now. I am in the process of getting my life back on a healthy progressive track. I began addressing my depression with meds a couple months ago now, and am most grateful for them, and only wish I would have not been so opposed to for so long.
I most recently began working again, in a non management position, and am happy to be back amongst the productive. Baby steps. I struggle daily with the apperance of my teeth and non smile. I have researched all that I know of and have found no assistance yet. I am desperate for dental help, I really believe that with a great smile in place I could and would gain back the confidence I need to continue going forward.
So I ask for your help all...any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Be well.
